My Story
After a type 1 diabetes diagnosis derailed the start of my college career, I came back to post conference leading numbers and lead Niagara to a conference championship. My performance earned me the MAAC player of the year award and a selection in the 2024 MLB draft.
In my first full year of pro ball (2025), I reached Double‑A with the Miami Marlins. That offseason, at the request of the player development staff, I played winter ball. In the ABL, I helped lead the Sydney Blue Sox to a second‑place finish and earned the Helms Award as league MVP.
When I returned home, I felt primed for a breakout season after a strong winter. Instead, I was informed by the front office that I would begin the year on the development list. Fully healthy, I continued to work daily. In live ABs I hit homers and doubles off many of Miami’s premier prospects.
After 63 games without being activated, I was released. I was never presented the opportunity to show the strides I made during my MVP winter. I’m confident that when I do get that opportunity, I’ll prove to be a truly impactful left‑handed power bat capable of changing games.
As of July 1st, I am playing in the Atlantic League with the Lexington Legends
